A cutting session in the armor. I am missing a good tie piece for the kabuto, therefor I did not wear it. Also, I never wear the mempo due to my glasses, it does NOT look good.
It has been very hot, so I cut the cutting and stick play down to a minimum. And yes, you are correct, the hair does not help with the heat!
Speaking of stick play, that was a terrible representation of how I am currently using the bo/substitute yari. I will have to do a dedicated staff/yari video sometime soon.

Back to the armor... I am unpracticed in technique while wearing armor. There are a number concepts I have to push aside while wearing this gettup, so I tend to move a bit differently. Also, I have lost quite a bit of weight, so there is a lot of empty space under the do, I need to fatten up or wear my kendogi next time. I tied the do very tight with the belt, so almost all of the weight was on my hips. If the thing was sized to me a bit better, I could wear it all day, in winter.
