I need a new cutting medium. Bottles are too fast, I would like to slow it down a bunch.

BTW, I am using a new sword - 2016 HSTS Tsunami. This sword has a VERY deep strop. I have never used a sword with such a deep strop (looks and feels like a secondary bevel almost). Also, the tsukimaki is a bit troublesome in my left hand. The end knot sticks out and jabs my lower hand, I don't like the way that feels. Sword is pretty good though for the most part.

A few steps backward this session was. As stated above, I would love to cut some mats, let me slow down a bit. Anyhow, after review and editing, I think I very much dislike what I did with this session. It was for fun, and was fun, but the swordplay is messy and un-uniform (especially the nukitsuke/one handed). I need to return to working on my footwork in particular, also some practice with noto/chiburi with my left or right leg forward. I also need to work on microburst cutting and reducing over striking.
