A total of 15 business premises belonging to GISB Holdings (GISBH) in the state have ceased operations following a police crackdown in other states.

However, checks at its premises in the district last night revealed that several were still operating as usual. Among the GISB business premises in the district is one located along Jalan Long Yunus. Their businesses in the area include a restaurant, a bakery, and a hotel.

Meanwhile, Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, said the police would continue to keep an eye on all premises belonging to GISB in Kelantan.

Razarudin said that he had directed the state police to monitor the premises closely.
