We finally get the finishing touches up in the barn-turned-cottage-playhouse so that we can start decorating. Brad cut logs into useable boards, planed them down, sanded them, and created live-edge baseboards; they are PERFECT for the cottagecore vibe. We painted ALL the walls (with the help of the kids and a couple of their cousins), sanded down the ceiling seams, put up door trim, weather-stripped, painted the loft, hung light fixtures (including a chandelier that my mom found), and even unboxed a gift for the Stasia to put in the playhouse. It was a lot of work!
