Fat Man, Tiny Bike, Hits the NC500 !

NC500 on a YB100cc Day 7 - After a fantastic breakfast at The Smoo Cave Hotel I set off on another beautiful if slightly breezy morning and this time I was driving south with the sun in my face for the first time in 7 days! After visiting the Post Office in Durness and fuelling up at the unmanned petrol pump, I was soon in the beautiful coastal and increasingly mountainous scenery that this part of Scotland is famous for.
Many people seem to see stag at the side of the road but not me, save for one place - I was enthralled to see a little party of them feeding on a cliff!
Lunch - I tucked into one of the famous pies at Lochinever Pie Shop and carried on through spectacular countryside and it got increasingly warm.
I arrived in Ullapool earlier than normal and had more time to walk around. I will say I was disappointed with the "Seafood Shack" - I prefer my fish to be straightforward and not messed around with!
