国内唯一天気の神様を祀る気象神社がある。映画「天気の子」ゆかりの社。気象予報士の受験生や結婚式前のカップル、天気に左右される事業を行う企業の関係者などが参拝するという。
花手水が有名。後半に花手水動画まとめました。
かつて境内にいた三毛猫「ミケさん」の像や社ガールもいました。

❁高円寺氷川神社
御祭神 素戔嗚尊(すさのおのみこと)
源頼朝の家臣が大宮の氷川神社の分霊を祀ったのが始まりと伝わる

Kouenji-Hikawa shrine
This shrine is associated with the movie ``Weathering with You'' and has the only weather shrine in Japan dedicated to the god of weather. It is famous for its flower hand water. In the second half, I put together a video of the flower washing process. There was also a statue of the calico cat "Mike-san" that used to be on the grounds, as well as a company girl.

❁気象神社
御祭神 八意思兼命（やごころおもいかねのみこと）
天気予報は軍の作戦に大きな影響があることから昭和19年4月、杉並区（高円寺駅の北口）にあった大日本帝国陸軍の陸軍気象部の施設内に造営。
戦後、ＧＨＱの指令により撤去されるはずだったが、調査漏れで神社は残り昭和２３年、高円寺氷川神社が引き取って気象神社が遷座。
令和元年公開の新海誠監督映画「天気の子」にも登場。中国・韓国・台湾など訪日外国人も多い。
週末には神社の外にまで行列ができるほどの聖地となっている。
UVERworldのメンバーもライブ前に全員で訪れたという。
気象庁の検定を受けた気象観測器もある。

Because weather forecasts have a major impact on military operations, it was built in April 1944 at the Imperial Japanese Army's Army Meteorological Department facility in Suginami Ward (north exit of Koenji Station).
After the war, it was supposed to be removed by GHQ's order, but due to a lack of investigation, the shrine remained and in 1945, it was taken over by Koenji Hikawa Shrine and replaced by Weather Shrine.
It also appeared in the movie "Weathering with You" directed by Makoto Shinkai, which was released in 2019. There are many foreigners visiting Japan from countries such as China, South Korea, and Taiwan.
It has become such a sacred place that there is a line outside the shrine on weekends.
All members of UVERworld also visited before the concert.
There are also weather observation instruments that have been certified by the Japan Meteorological Agency.
