HARLIN performs their song "Afraid of Love" live at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, CA, on February 27, 1987. They opened for The Knack that evening. The song was written by Whil Harlin.

Whil Harlin - lead vocals, guitar
Gilbert "Gib" Arciniega - lead guitar, vocals
Brett Scott - bass, vocals
Drake Thompson - drums, vocals

The late, great Bill "Billy V" Vellutini - soundman and announcer

This song was in Whil's arsenal several years before the band Harlin formed. He had written and recorded the song while with his previous band, Beringer Reef, around 1980-81. It was never released, but it did appear on the demo cassette Whil was shopping around at the time he met Brett, Drake and Gib in the summer of 1985. Harlin would go on to record this song again later in 1987, with a slightly different arrangement.
