How to Resin an Outdoor Bar Top | Step-by-Step Guide
In this video, we show you how to coat an outdoor bar top with epoxy resin, even if it has large knots or cracks! We also embedded a coin into the resin for an extra personalized touch. The result? A shiny, hard, weather-resistant epoxy bar top that stands up to the elements.
We worked in 3 layers to get the perfect finish:
1. First coat: We let the epoxy resin soak into the wood and filled the initial cracks and crevices.
2. Second coat: We filled all the remaining cracks, knots, and divots with resin, leveling the surface.
3. Final coat: We poured a glossy epoxy top coat to seal and protect the bar top for a smooth, professional finish!
