In this video I show how to make a snow globe card without using a snow globe die set. It is quite an easy card to make, and I made 6 examples to give you some ideas.
I have got a snow globe die set in my stash, but it hasn't brought me joy. It is limiting in size if you want to create hybrids with other dies, and it looks a bit chunky around the edges.
I am using circle dies from my nesting set, and you can use any size which work best with any mini dies you have in your stash.
I have kept the cards fairly simple, but you could easily 'bling them up and make them much more fancy.
materials used:
Cardstock, circle dies and mini dies, stamps, ink, washi tape, embossing powder, embossing folders, glitter, gilding polish, mica/pearl powder, metallic paper for the gifts, craft gems, craft glue and some double sided sticky tape.
I found a mask die in my stash ( lovely but used only once) that made a fancy stand, and I used the negative spaces from a gate die to make the poles.
