On Sunday 25th February 2024, a day of training was conducted for Operational Train Staff (Drivers, Fireman, Guards, Train Managers and Carriage Attendants) to become familiar and confident in their respective roles in readiness for DownsSteam commencing hauling passenger trains.

2 return trips from Drayton and Wyreema were made to train up and assess as many staff as possible.

Steam Locomotive C16 106 handled the 3 carriages with ease and proved that it will be a reliable performer.
