My concept for this remix was create a duet between Dahyun and JYP in the vein of Twice's song "Feel Special". Recently, they both performed a more toned-down acoustic version of the song showing their distinct ability to reconfigure a poppy and happy vibe to a sullen but jazzy one. I went along this concept by taking elements and vocals from those performances and assembling a LOFI-inspired backing instrumental. To create a jarring feel, I morphed JYP's voice into a totally different sound. Since in both performances, they only performed one verse, it's likely that the same verse is sung twice - but we can consider this a conversation. In terms of emotion, I hoped to cultivate a scene where the listener feels as if they are sitting by the window feeling melancholic from the sounds of the rain. However, their mood perks up when they recall moments of happiness when someone in their life said or did something to made them feel special.
