When I am talking about taxes I mean income taxes, I don't clarify that but we are talking about income here so no other taxes are applied.

If you are looking to move states or you are just a curious person like me, finding out the answer to the question, "What state leaves you with the most sending money?" is exciting. Despite a lot of research and manual inputting of information into excel (because I'm not very good at excel) I had a lot of fun with this and I hope everyone finds this interesting.

Its crazy to see the disparity between some of these states and how much leisure money they leave you. To me, you are essentially getting paid to move to a different state and live there when you are keeping 20 thousand more of your pay check. Sure your living environment isn't going to be the same wherever you go but if you weren't spoiled with amazing weather to start off with the it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Alot of people right now are moving out of the state of California for various reasons. It's like the hot topic right now for Youtubers. When you look at this very basic comparison its easy to see why. California is not kind to those who make money. You do get great Weather but the question you have to ask yourself is, "Is it worth my wallet?"
