Hi there, it's taken me a long time to be in a place where I can share this story in a way that's informative and hopefully somewhat helpful. Obviously, with a sensitive subject such as this, there was and still is a lot of emotion surrounding these events. Please be kind and respectful should there be any conversation about miscarriage in the comments. This is just part one of what I went through and it's an extremely pared-down version of what actually happened. My deepest hope is that sharing this video sheds light on how common and truly unpredictable these things can be. I never knew that the miscarriage rate was 1 in every 4 pregnancies until it happened to me, and the trauma that women and families experience with the loss of a child is beyond anything I could've ever imagined. If this is your story, I am truly sorry. Hopefully, we can continue to bring awareness and help each other feel less alone during such difficult times.
