TRIGGER WARNING
I talk about my experience working in the early pregnancy unit, which does include discussions around miscarriage. I then also talk about a bereavement case I dealt with on labour ward, which talks about intra-uterine death and my experience of bereavement care. I do indicate when I will talk about bereavement, and where to skip to on the video if you do not want to listen to that part. However, I did not put a disclaimer in there about the early pregnancy unit, so if you don't want to hear about miscarriage then please skip further into the video when I delve into the early pregnancy unit information.
However, for the majority of the video, I focus mainly on the antenatal areas that I have worked such as the antenatal ward, antenatal clinic and triage.

My inbox on instagram (ellies_journey_to_midwifery) is always open if anyone wants to have a chat about challenging times they may have faced on placement (or even if you want to discuss anything really!) so please do let me know if you just want someone to talk to about it :) I was in two minds on whether to discuss these challenging events, however it is all part of the degree, and it is important I think that we do not shy away from these topics, and that education around them is so important.

I really hope you did find part 2 of this series useful though, and that you have enjoyed it! Please hit the like button if so :)

I hope you have an amazing day!
