Danish Dough
* 1 ½ cups (7 ½ oz/213 g) all-purpose flour
* 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
* 2 teaspoons instant yeast
* ½ teaspoon salt
* 1 cup (8 oz/225 g) cold butter, cubed
* 1 large egg
* 6 tablespoons (3 fl oz/90 ml) whole milk
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Cream Cheese Filling
* ½ cup (4 oz/115 g) cream cheese, softened
* 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
* 1 large egg yolk
* ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
* Egg wash, for glazing
