In honour of the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp.
This is one of the best arguments against the 'Marvel Symphonic Universe' debate, in which people say Marvel doesn't have memorable music because they don't re-use themes from previous movies. Janet Van Dyne's theme was in Ant-Man (2015), and Janet herself only appeared in flashbacks! That's insane yet awesome. Proof that Marvel doesn't have a music problem like people say. You just have to pay close attention.
Christophe Beck composed a theme for the original Wasp / Janet Van Dyne in Ant-Man (2015) without anyone really knowing. Then he brought it back for Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) multiple times, cementing it as Janet's theme.
Janet's theme begins mysteriously, with a build-up, then becomes heroic, and then a little sad. Much like Janet's character: "Your mom died a hero" - Hank Pym.
The songs used in this suite are:
San Francisco, 1987 - Christophe Beck
Prologue - Christophe Beck
Your Mom Died A Hero - Christophe Beck
Cautious As A Hurricane - Christophe Beck
