Although the prequels came under fire by many for a multitude of reasons, the music was not one of them. John Williams returned to a galaxy far, far away after 16 years to compose the score for George Lucas’ prequels. And he brought his A-game with him!

Possibly the most memorable theme from Williams’ prequel scores was Anakin and Padmé’s love theme, commonly referred to as; ‘Across the Stars’. The theme was most unmistakably a love theme, except it had many layers to it, as love does, and as Anakin and Padmé’s relationship did. The theme is dark, sad and happy, perfectly representing the love story of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala.

John Williams, being the king of memorable themes, is no stranger to the love theme, and indeed composed one for Han and Leia, which I hope to make a suite of in the future.

The songs used in this suite are:

Love Pledge And The Arena - John Williams
Confrontation With Count Dooku and Finale - John Williams
Anakin’s Nightmare - John Williams
Across The Stars - John Williams

Star Wars: Episode III - The Revenge Of The Sith - John Williams - https://itunes.apple.com/ie/album/sta...

The clips are from Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999), Star Wars: Episode II - Attack Of The Clones (2002) and Star Wars: Episode III - The Revenge Of The Sith (2005), and belong to Lucasfilm. I own nothing in this video.
