After a full month of practicing the pause Hourly, here are my results! I will definitely continue with this practice!
I set hourly alarms starting at 7:30 am going to 8:30 PM. Every day. When my alarm goes off, I pause from what I am doing for just a breath or two. If I am driving, I continue driving but take several deep breaths and get back to centre. If I’m talking to someone I take the breath through my nose so it is descrete. If I am in the grocery store, I just pretend I am looking down at my phone, and I do my own little pause. But if I am home with my family, I pause. I take a break from the chaos, the meal, the situation and say to the kids “it’s time to pause now”. It works!! It’s great!
