Knee hangs are a novel, feel-good way to passively stretch and decompress your spine & shoulders. Gravity constantly compresses our spine in the other direction while we stand/sit/walk/etc. Therefore, it's good to occasionally flip things upside down to let gravity pull your shoulders and spine down toward the ground.
Keep in mind that knee hangs require intermediate confidence & control to safely get into and out of, so be cautious. If you slip or get stuck upside down, it could result in a nasty fall!
