This wood turning project is more complicated than any other I've done a video for. It's pretty long, but I talk through a couple of my processes - laying out the design on the blank, how I'm ebonizing, and a couple other things. I'm still working on getting some decent commentary in my videos, as many have requested. It has proven to be more difficult than I anticipated. I included quite a few subtitle comments throughout the process since I didn't talk through any of the turning - I hope that helps for those who want commentary. The tools I use are a variety of bowl gouges, a spindle gouge, skews, and a round nose bowl scraper. The order that I do some of the processes may seem strange, but there are four pieces, three points where pieces have to fit together, and I can't dry fit two of them until they are completely finished... Luckily, it worked out okay! I hope it's not too hard to follow. Let me know if you have any questions.
