It's almost time for the chick to make that big leap out into the world that awaits, but before the confidence is gained it calls out for more food from the folks. The parent bird comes and delivers a quick snack for the young chick. This was in my garden in Tralee County Kerry Ireland, such an absolute joy and privilege to have provided housing for these wonderful creatures.
