A beautiful entertaining little movie that captured 6 Blue Tit chicks as they make their first flights from the garden Bird Box. Roughly 3 weeks after hatching the chicks are ready to leave the nest. I live in Co Kerry Ireland, I made some bird houses a number of years ago and the Blue Tits eventually started to nest and raise their young in the Bird houses. I was never lucky enough to witness the chicks make their first flights from the Bird house. This year I could see the chicks through the opening and just for the hell of it I decided to set up the camera not expecting to capture anything. Atfer a short while and to my absolute surprise I noticed that the chicks were starting to emerge from the Bird house. There were 7 chicks in total but unfortunatly the battery in my camera ran out of power and I didn't manage to record chcik number 7 leave the Bird house.
