This time we´ve tried something new, at first you can watch the dialogue and then I explain some new words to you.

A: xiǎo hóng, wǒ xiǎng xué zhōng wén, nǐ zhī dào nǎ lǐ yǒu hǎo de zhōng wén xué xiào mā?
小红，我想学中文，你知道哪里有好的中文学校吗？
Xiaohong, I want to learn Chinese, do you know where a good Chinese language school is?

B: o, zhōng wén xué xiào a, wǒ tīng shuō nà gè a xué xiào tǐng hǎo de, wǒ de yī gè péng yǒu jiù zài nà lǐ xué zhōng wén.
哦，中文学校啊，我听说那个a学校挺好的，我一个朋友就在那里学中文。
Oh, Chinese language school…I heard that the school A is pretty good, one of my friends learns Chinese there.

A: zhēn de mā? tā xué de zěn me yàng? nà gè xué xiào yǒu nǎ xiē kè chéng?
真的吗？他学得怎么样？那个学校有哪些课程？
Really? How’s his learning going? What courses does the school have?

B: wǒ nà gè péng yǒu shì yuè nán rén, tā qù nián tōng guò le zhōng wén èr jí kǎo shì, tā xiàn zài zài nà gè xué xiào shàng zhōng jí bān.
我那个朋友是越南人，他去年通过了中文二级考试，他现在在那个学校上中级班。
My friend is Vietnamese, he just passed HSK 2 last year and he is now having intermediate class there.

wǒ tīng tā shuō, tā hěn xǐ huān gěi tā shàng kè de lǎo shī, nà gè lǎo shī xìng wáng.
我听他说，他很喜欢给他上课的老师，那个老师姓王。
I heard from him that he really likes the teacher who teaches him. The teacher’s family name is Wang.

A: nà... nà lǐ yǒu gāo jí bān mā? wǒ xiǎng qù cān jiā gāo jí bān.
那...那里有高级班吗？我想去参加高级班。
Then do you know if the school offers any advanced class? I’d like to take advanced class.

B: wǒ bù zhī dào, wǒ bāng nǐ wèn wèn wǒ péng yǒu, dāi huì yǒu xiāo xi le gào sù nǐ.
我不知道，我帮你问问我朋友，待会有消息了告诉你。
I don’t know. I am asking my friend now for you and will tell you afterwards.

B: wǒ bāng nǐ wèn guò le, tā shuō tā men xué xiào yǒu gāo jí bān, ér qiě yě shì wáng lǎo shī jiāo.
我帮你问过了，他说他们学校有高级班，而且也是王老师教。
I asked and he said there’s advanced class at the school and was also taught by Teacher Wang.

wáng lǎo shī shì tā men xué xiào zuì hǎo de lǎo shī。
王老师是他们学校最好的老师。
Teacher Wang is the best teacher at their school.

tā yǐ jīng jiāo le èr shí nián de shū le, hěn yǒu jīng yàn, hěn yǒu nài xīn.
他已经教了20年的书了，很有经验，很有耐心。
He has been teaching for 20 years and has much experience and is very patient.

wǒ péng yǒu xiàn zài hěn xǐ huān xué xí zhōng wén.
我朋友现在很喜欢学习中文。
My friend likes learning Chinese now a lot.

A: nà tài hǎo le, wǒ dāi huì jiù qù tā men xué xiào de wǎng zhàn shàng bào míng!
那太好了，我待会就去他们学校的网站上报名！
That’s wonderful. I am gonna go to the school’s website later to register!

B: bù guò wǒ péng yǒu shuō, bào míng yǐ hòu yào jìn xíng hàn yǔ shǔi píng kǎo shì, kàn kan nǐ yīng gāi shàng nǎ ge shuǐ píng de bān。
不过我朋友说，报名以后要进行汉语水平考试，看看你应该上哪个水平的班。
But my friend said that you needed to take an assessment test after registration to see which class you should be attending.

nǐ yào zuò hǎo zhǔn bèi. rú guǒ gāo jí bān méi yǒu kǎo shàng, nà jiù zhǐ néng shàng zhōng jí bān la.
你要做好准备。如果高级班没有考上，那就只能上中级班啦。
You gotta be prepared. If you couldn’t make it to the advanced class, you can only attend the intermediate one.

A: hǎo de, méi wèn tí! wǒ de zhōng wén kě hǎo le!
好的，没问题！我的中文可好了！
sure, no problem! My Chinese is pretty good! I

yī dìng kě yǐ bào shàng gāo jí bān, fàng xīn!
一定可以报上高级班，放心！
I can definitely make it to the advance class, no worries!

B: méi cuò, jiā yóu ya!
没错，加油呀！
True, go for it!

A: xiè xie, wǒ xiàn zài jiù qù bào míng.
谢谢，我现在就去报名。
Thanks, I gotta go and register myself now.
