In this installment we go behind the scenes with the founder of Surf Ghana, Sandy Alibo, to learn more about her skate collective. Sandy built Surf Ghana to provide Ghanians a space to learn how to skateboard. She soon realized that women were not often in attendance at these events. To combat this, she built Skate Gal, a women's only skate collective that is a safe space for women to learn, fail, and try again.
