Four original members of the Elements/Elgins (Jimmie Smith, Kenneth Sinclair, Darryl "Cappy" Lewis and William DeVase) perform their 1960 Titan label release, "Lonely Hearts Club" at a Doo-Wop Society of Southern California concert. This event took place at The Petroleum Club in Long Beach, California on February 21, 1998. The fifth original member, Oscar McDonald, was ill and unable to attend. The last survivor of the group, lead singer Smith, passed away in 2021.
