In this DIY video I show you how to make your own shiplap for half the cost by showing your how we made our own modern rustic shiplap wall in our kitchen. The paint that we chose for our shiplap is Aviatrix by Sherwin Williams.

Steps-
- Rip plywood down to 5 7/8" or the width needed for the look you want
- Cut 1/8" by 1/8" grove on one edge of each board
- Mark stud locations
- Nail shiplap to wall at the studs
- fill in nail holes with wood filler
- Sand
- Paint
