Showing two different ways to finish off a simple white oak knife block.

The first was to apply a diluted white latex paint to the raw wood and wipe off. The second was to rub in India ink.

After both had dried, liberally apply Rubio Oil + 2C to seal the wood and make the grain pop. Rub off excess after allowing it to sit for a few minutes and voila, two different, but beautiful finishes.
