We have older recessed can lights and are ready to update them to a cleaner, more modern look of a flat, led canless light. They are brighter, more energy efficient and offer a sleeker look.
Some of the holes in the ceiling look like they were not cut with much care, and as such, decorative trim needed to be used around the lights.
We hated the trim.
So when upgrading to these new, retrofit LED lights (links down below) we also knew we'd need to have trim to cover the previous hack job. Luckily we found the "goof trim" (maybe named for the times you goof it up when cutting the holes??) and this trim is sleek and modern, just like the canless light retrofit!
It's simple and easy to do - just like changing a lightbulb.
