I was actually going to shoot the sunrise at a lake I found the day before on Google Maps. But when I arrived at the place and followed the "hiking trail" signs, I suddenly found myself in a very unusual forest. All the trees were either bent in an arc or broken. It was as if this was the epicenter of an explosion or a meteorite had fallen here. It was impossible to resist trying to take pictures of such an unusual forest. But I was going to try to do it without a tripod. And I did.
