Landscape photography in the off-season usually involves the pain of finding locations suitable for shooting at this time of year. Forest photography in particular. The trees look bare without leaves, the grass is just emerging, and everything looks pale and ugly. But I find a special charm in this season. The woods look transparent, you can see through the thicket to the very depths. In this video I confess the real goals of my journey in landscape photography, and they don't involve taking pictures. Not only with that, to be precise.
