The heather-covered mountainsides along the trail to the waterfall compensated me for the fact that the waterfall had dried up. Stunning bright patches of blossom heather and last year's grass faded almost to white contrasted with the coniferous greenery and curved birch trees on the slopes - all with excellent light and a million compositional possibilities. I invite you to join me for a walk along a beautiful mountain trail, cross a mountain stream canyon, and take some lush forest shots!
