This is the first of a few short videos highlighting some summer adventures in Colorado. We kicked off the road trip with a brief stop in Colorado Springs. Although this is one of our favorite places, somehow I'd never gone up Pike's Peak on foot! The 13 mile Barr Trail route proved to be lovely, and actually quite runnable. Until the last 1,500 feet, when my head felt like it was in a vice. The view is so powerful, though. Enjoy!
