Even thought the main story doesn’t progress much in this episode here are three reasons I love “The Headband”!
We finally get to see Aang as a normal kid, and see just how charismatic he naturally is. I also love the world building within the Fire Nation, where we can see the people aren’t as black and white evil as we might have thought. And finally we get some actual progress on the romantic relationship between Aang and Katara (I know there are many who think their relationship was organic and believable but I don’t, this episode is what actually sells it to me).
