I love that Mirabel isn’t a sword-wielding fighter, but instead her strength shows though in compassionate and helpful ways. I love that they allow Mirabel to have goofy mannerisms, and not be perfectly composed the whole time. I love that Mirabel’s proportions and design are more realistic than a lot of animated female protagonists. And I love that she is an alto!
