The long journey of seven days in Putao, the northernmost region of Myanmar and the gateway to ASEAN’s lone snow-capped mountain range, is coming to an end. It’s a time to wait and see if the snow-capped mountains will reveal themselves as wished, and to get to know the Tai Khamti ethnic group, who will unlock the secret behind the name “Putao” and where it originates from under the current circumstances of Myanmar.
