In our Bara'em Ghirass program, Palestinian children from Bethlehem and surrounding refugee camps and isolated villages receive musical instrument lessons, choir, orchestra, Arabic ensemble, and group sessions with the center's social worker.

All of this hard work pays off when these young musicians get the opportunity to take the stage, performing for their families and friends. This footage was taken in July 2023, where participants of the program performed to over 300 people!

For children and young people growing up in Palestine, chaos and violence are tragically common. Our work with the Ghirass Cultural Center provides a much-needed safe space where children can find peace, solace, and enjoyment from music. These concerts represent what should be the norm for these children - a moment to enjoy the beauty of art and creativity.
