Today I recreated a dessert from UK's Buns From Home. They sell cream-filled buns made with croissant pastry Since I can’t go try them there, I tried to recreate them. The chilly weather got me craving a rich, chocolate filled cream bun, and this crispy croissant bun was just perfect to lift up my mood.

One bite of the cream filled bun got me thirst for some coffee, so I was really excited for the opportunity to collab with G7. Since it’s powdered coffee mix, you can enjoy it dissolved in just water but I added 5 home cafe recipes so you can enjoy them in more varieties. I hope you check them out.

* Ingredients (for 6 buns)
Frozen pastry sheet (11cm x 11cm. must contain yeast)
Unsalted butter softened at room temperature, egg wash, simple syrup (sugar boiled in equal part water)
200g double cream (A), 100g dark chocolate, 200g double cream (B)
3 egg yolks, 70g sugar, 1 sachet coffee powder, 2~3 tbsp. hot water, 40g cake flour
250g milk, 150g dark chocolate

You can use whatever flavored cream filling you want.
I also recommend lemon custard cream + meringue combo or tiramisu flavor.
