Watch and learn how to cut, fit, & glue the core wood inlay banding for the Cosmati #2 design. In this episode we are expanding the core. A top and bottom row of maple and mahogany triangular wood segments are glued up so they can be added to the main banding core. One challenge that the woodworker faces is getting the contrasting segments in alignment once the outer segments are glued to the main core banding.

There is a lot of gluing and clamping at the workbench during this episode. However, it must be done in order to complete the Cosmati wood inlay design.
