Thumb guards are tagged above!

We noticed throughout the weeks she has used these thumb guards, she used her voice more often. This has been an exciting time to hear her voice but it has also caused us all quite a bit of stress because she is having a hard time self soothing with her usual technique.

Although you do not have to be Autistic to stim, many autistic children develop unhealthy stims such as, thumb sucking, pulling out hair, yelling (vocal stim) or head banging. Our goal is to help Mikko transition to a healthier stim.
