Widespread low clouds—but warm temperatures—in the Puget Sound region on a fall day offered an opportunity to practice instrument approaches before the freezing level dropped.

I departed Boeing Field (KBFI) for the quick flight north to Arlington, WA (KAWO) to fly the RNAV (GPS) RWY 34 approach, which offers an LPV DA of 200 ft AGL. The ceiling was about 500 ft. with good visibility beneath the clouds.

After that low approach, I continued southwest to Bremerton, WA (KPWT) for a full-stop landing after the RNAV (GPS) RWY 20 approach, also to a runway with an approach lighting system that offers an LPV DA of 200 ft AGL, just like an ILS. That approach is another video.
