Highlights from the 2nd Te Kauwhata driveway concert in rock history!

Watch out world, 'The Rockers' band has just been formed! The #drivewayconcert (yes we're making that a hashtag) was a wonderful success!!!! Thanks again for all the support from our wonderful community!

Backstory: A while back our determined 9 year old girl, started to grow out of her little pink Fender electric guitar. Then upon learning that she would have to work towards her next guitar herself and becoming frustrated with doing months and months of chores for pocket money, she decided to hand deliver flyers and busk on her driveway. After the performance, when she realised she was able to get her DREAM GUITAR she cried tears of happiness.

This concert was a thank you concert to give back to our wonderful Te Kauwhata community.

Elektra has been playing guitar for a year and a half. She recently met Malcolm (bass) and @alexsandford5 (vocals & guitar) and Ellen (drums) and Sam, the guest appearance, at a local jamming session.
