After many months in Southeast Asia, our journey continues in Kathmandu. We stay in the Tibetan Quarter, home to the famous and impressive Boudhanath Stupa, a Buddhist monument adorned with prayer flags waving in the wind. We also visit one of the more than fifty Tibetan monasteries and attend some prayers. In this Tibetan neighborhood we experience its great spirituality, its cultural traditions and the delicious flavors of Nepali, Indian and Tibetan cuisine.
