In the journey through Indonesia from Java, we travel to Yogyakarta from the Dieng Plateau, where we spent a few days among cool mountains and volcanoes. In Yogyakarta we visit the palace of the King-Sultan, the old palace gardens (the impressive Taman Sari) and rent a motorbike to try to see the still active volcano Merapi.
