Finally, after more than a year of waiting since our first visit at our new partner blacksmith, we're getting our new line of Seki Kyuba knives shipped from Japan.
With some blacksmiths's waiting times up to 5-8 years in some cases, we've been working really hard to establish a relationship and guarantee smooth stocking and delivery for our precious customers like you. That's why we're really excited to introduce the three new lines of knives made in Seki, Gifu area in Japan: Seki Kyuba PRO (RS2/SG2 steel) and Seki Kyuba CORE VG10, plus a knife you've all been asking for... Seki Kyuba PAN パン bread serrated knife!

Seki Kyuba PRO line will consist of: Santoku 180mm, Gyuto 210mm, Gyuto 240mm, Kiritsuke 210mm, Kiritsuke 240mm and Petty 150mm. In Seki Kyuba CORE you'll get Santoku 165mm, Nakiri 180mm, Bunka 180mm and Petty 120mm and Seki Kyuba PAN bread knife will be available with 235mm blade.
Your beloved Sakai Kyuba made in Sakai, Osaka is not going anywhere :)

They'll all be available in your beloved Mediterranean Blue, Olive Green and Natural Brown handles, just like Sakai Kyuba, and they will all come in a beautiful wooden box and a 5 Japanese Yen coin attached (for those who believe in superstition).
