With a 14-foot Lumberman's Monument overlooking the Au Sable River as our scenic adventure was well worth the 200 plus stairs. This roadside stop pay tribute to loggers and firefighters. the log cabin museum provides plenty of information on wildlife, loggers, and firefighters. At the end of the stairs, you find a floating camp showing the ways loggers were provided food. Epic views and gorgeous trails.
