East Tawas is a city in Iosco County in Michigan. Although a small city, East Tawas has a very lively downtown area. Downtown East Tawas is home to many small shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as a movie theater. The towns of East Tawas and Tawas City, MI make up the Tawas area. It’s a beautiful area, featuring a stunning landscape of sparkling blue,bay waters with clean, well-manicured public beaches hugging the Lake Huron shoreline.
