Carrots 1,2, & 4.
I was giving away more plants today. Cuttings. Some I wanted to keep but I’m not going to have sellers remorse. In my case. Givers remorse. That’s how it works. Let go of stuff. Hanging on to stuff physically or emotionally will wear you down if it’s not serving you for the better. A nice cute young couple who were just so sweet and kind, both of them. 8am on a grey cool misty morning. Missed the Japanese lady who came by when I was out, I wanted to practice my Japanese with her. Oh well. A dude came by for some Aloe. I gave him a few I pulled out started pulling a few. I had to boldly cut him off because he wouldn’t adhere to my limit. Finally told him one of those "dude, stop!". Odd. Letting it go., but you know what, when you let go, you have more space to breath. When you start breathing better in real life and metaphorically you can feel like you can grow from within. In my case, I use the metaphor with gardens. Let it flourish color and vibrance.
My carrot story. I’m careful with my diet in general and will eat till I’m comfortable. Not till I’m full. I nosh, usually something healthy. Once you incorporate healthy habits, you get used to them then you crave them because it feels good. Feeling good is what you want. I wanted carrots, this moment carrots would have brought me the greatest joy for this time right now. lol. I had some left over from the 8 gallon pot of Yugoslavian Pasulje I made yesterday. I went to the fridge, opened the veggie basket and put my hand in the carrot bag and felt around like I was a kid with his hand in a Halloween candy bag looking for something specific. I ended up pulling out 1,2, & 4 carrots. Not number three because three was a little bigger than I wanted and I wasn’t that hungry. Imagine saying no to 3 because it was slightly larger. What a wimp am I. lol
And me even thinking of putting this silly story up says that I think it’s a pretty silly story.
