In this video I show my typical first step with any marketplace or junkyard engine, degreasing and tear down / inspection. I go over what I use to degrease the engine, and begin tearing it down and inspecting things like the camshaft, lifters, pushrods and connecting rods. I find with this motor that pretty much everything checks out, it just leaked a good amount of oil! Very surprising for the price I paid. In my next video we begin working on the cylinder heads.
