This week’s vlog sees us cruising our NARROWBOAT floating home to our mooring at the CRICK BOAT SHOW.
The weekend starts off with a BBQ get-together with friends on the Friday, and is also Julie’s birthday.
Day one of the show sees lots of new boats, we share walk-throughs of just our two favourites, otherwise this video would be hours long! 🤪 There’s a charity beard shave, and entertainment in the evening.
Day two sees crazy weather, lots of familiar faces, floating homes, historic boats and even a kayak race!
Day three sees Martin trying his hand at canal art and the announcement and walk-through of the best NARROWBOAT in show! ….. but not before we pay tribute to everyone who came up and said hi to us at the show! Thank you to everyone who spoke to us, we tried to get all of your photos and names, so hope we remembered you all! Some of you said hi in passing when it was too busy, so no time to get photos or chat, but we loved meeting every single one of you, lovely to put faces to names, so thank you for taking the time out of your day to say hi to us! ❤️

We bought our 2004 narrowboat Rhapsody in Blue in the September and have been living full time onboard ever since.
