Today I remove broken pieces from a John Deere 250 Disc Tiller as well as the hitch on the machine to be repaired as well as the machine that is donating parts.

I picked up both of these units from a local auction last fall with the intent to use both machines to make one good complete one that can be pulled behind one of my antique tractors. The front of the frame was already busted up on the one unit, the other unit was missing the tailwheel. I believe between the two there is one good unit and some parts leftover to help someone else.

For now the goal is to assemble one complete machine and make it functional. Eventually it will likely get completely stripped down, sand blasted, and painted with new parts where appropriate to complete a restoration for exhibit at antique tractor shows and use at plowing events.
